“Rwy'n dylunio ac yn creu platiau wedi eu mowldio, yn defnyddio pysgod fel delweddaeth. Mae'r platiau'n cyfuno serameg gyda fy niddordeb mewn arlunio ac addurno. Gellir eu hystyried ar bedair lefel: fel platiau; fel eitemau addurnol cyflawn; fel delweddaeth benodol ac, yr hyn sy'n bwysig iawn i mi, fel digwyddiadau serameg. 'Rwy'n hoffi gweld trwch y sglein wrth iddo lifo dros sianeli'r  gwaith sgraffito (llinellau crafedig), wrth iddo fywiogi'r slipiau lliw ac uno gyda'r gwahanol rannau o bigment a ychwanegir. Credaf y dylai serameg siarad gyda geirfa clai, sglein a lliw a effeithir gan dân."

"I design and make press-moulded plates with fish for imagery. The plates incorporate ceramics with my interests in drawing and decoration. They should be read on four levels: as plates; as overall decorative objects; as specific imagery and, very importantly to me, as ceramic happenings. I like to see the thickness of glaze as it flows over the channels of sgraffito (scratched line) work, as it enlivens the coloured slips and fuses with the various added areas of pigment. I believe that ceramics should speak withe vocabulary of clay, glaze and colour affected by fire."
